Warm up by passing three tiles right, across and left — the Charleston, borrowed from American mahjong and the passing games of an Indian card night.

Draw or claim a discard to form melds — pungs, kongs, and Rummy-style runs. Chakra wilds bend the rules for creative sets.

One tile from winning with a concealed hand? Declare Ready for bonus points — and play defense as the wall runs down.

When will Maharajong ship?

How much will it cost?
Pricing isn't finalized. As a premium, hand-finished set, Maharajong will be priced to match its craft — we'll share exact Founding Edition pricing with the waitlist before reservations open, with no obligation to buy.
Where is it made?
Honestly, we're still deciding. We're in active prototyping and evaluating specialist makers who can do justice to the artwork and finish. We'll be transparent about materials and manufacturing as those choices firm up.
Do I need to know how to play mahjong?
Not at all. Maharajong is designed to welcome newcomers while rewarding experienced players. The set includes a full rulebook and a one-page quick-start so four people can sit down and play.
